I'm hoping you all received the email regarding our AGM meeting next week but if you didn't here is a reminder F.O.R.S needs you! Please get involved and come along to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 16th September, at the school, from 7:45pm. During this meeting, we'll look back at the last school year and start to prepare ourselves for the coming school year Please consider coming along to the meeting on Wednesday and potentially taking on one of the roles or even just to come along and help out FORS we could really do with some extra hands and volunteers to support us planning events, organising Leavers Hoodies, Sports day medals, School Discos, Christmas Fairs, Summer BBQs. This hugely helps to fund the school with things they don't have budgets available for. Here are some examples of items we've fundraised and donated previously, a new sound and lighting system for the school hall and black out blind, iPads for every classroom, books and bookshelves for every classroom, playground equipment, role play equipment for reception and so much more! FORS needs you! We look forward to hopefully seeing you on Wednesday 16th. The F.O.R.S Team

PGL 2026 has started! Year 6 and the UKS2 staff made their way to Bawdsey Manor last night; one staff member took a slightly different mode of transport this year.

Last week, we were incredibly lucky to have a visit from HM Coastguard. They spoke to our pupils about being safe in the water in a Water Safety Assembly. This was followed by demonstrations using some of their lifesaving equipment and the CRVs (Coastguard Rescue Vehicles).

Last week, we visited Easton Farm Park to celebrate SENDsational week. This SENDsational outing was for our children who sometimes find other educational trips challenging - and it was also a day for our Young Carers to enjoy. The children were able to get a hands-on experience, stroking and feeding some animals. We had a SENDsational day!

We are seeking to appoint an After Schools Assistant to join our team from September.

Our Year 3/4 School Council are having a very busy day, as well as Sports Day this afternoon, they have been lucky enough to open the new Rendlesham Co-op.

It looks like it's going to be another hot sports day tomorrow.
