The Consortium Trust is driven by core education principles: Personal Development, Creative Development and Community Engagement. These drivers are not "add-ons", nor are they haphazard outcomes; they are the foundation of education in our schools.
These three drivers are broken down into a further eighteen Learning Characteristics (the hexagons), which we use as the building blocks of our character education.
The principles of character development are taught in every aspect of the school day, so pupils learn to build links between their knowledge, skills and character.
The Trust’s drivers sit at the heart of curriculum as well as Learning Pi:
As a Trust, we have worked with web and app developers to create the Learning Pi app, available here at the Apple Store and here at the Android store.
The Snap and Share feature can be used by both teachers and parents to share learning in school and at home. The quick process involves selecting the learning characteristic, uploading a photo and writing a comment about how the child has demonstrated the current learning characteristic.
